I have 97 gst, Going to be doing, Greddy samllcore fmic, hard intake pipe, o2 housing, down pipe, garrett t-28 turbo. Already have hks exhaust. I am wondering if the stock system will manage or do I need a fuel/engine managment system?

The stock system will handle the additional flow, but you have to be careful that you don't max out the injectors or fuel pump. I would at least rewire the pump and pick up a logger to keep track of things. It wouldn't hurt to grab some larger injectors and something to control them with, but if you keep the boost low, you shouldn't have any problems.

If you are going to upgrade the turbo I would suggest rewiring the fuel pump, getting slightly larger injectors and using a MBC, AFC and Logger. Also check out the FP Big T28. So you can safely turn up the boost.

Edit: and remember to get a boost gauge, it should be your first mod.

Stock would be fine with the mods your talking about. Like evolving said, It always good to rewire the fuel pump. If you want to run more boost, start upgrading the fuel system. Then get an SAFC and logger to monitor. Or just skip it all and get DSMlink or EMS :D
