I have a 97 gst I am doing exhaust, intake, o2 housing, down pipe, Garrett t-28 turbo, Greddy small core fmic. Is there anything I am going to need to make this car run proparly or is the stock managment system good enough?

You should be fine with the stock ECU and what you have since it isnt much of an increase. But to optimize what you have and get as much as possible out of it you would want to get something to tune with. :thumb:

ok thanks another question what would be a could system to tune with?

Don't forget about a boost leak tester. Very important to getting optimal performance out of your car.

I have a 3" turbo back, intake, huge greddy 24v intercooler w/ complete piping, downpipe, and a MAF-T with just the base settings and only finally started hitting fuel cut. I'd say your safe for a while but like somebody said get yourself some kind of management system like a SAFC for example. Also depending on how long you want to stick with that setup, maybe some injectors and a fuel pump would be in order which would also allow you greater tuning ability...

The possiblities are endless, set some goals and decide if you want a street car or drag car...one of my favorite first mods was the B&M short throw, Symborski kit and bearing mod. Nothing like being able to shift at the flick of a wrist. Its no performance gain but its a great daily driving mod. Also if wanting to tune, get an SAFC and palm to log with.
