Timing...

I know how to check timing on the belt and make sure the marks line up and to check the TDC how would i check if the CAS is on or off? I pulled the CAS off and i just turned it anyway and put it back on the head... I think this is whats stopping me from starting my car... How can i check to see if my CAS is on the right way?

When you look at your cas there is a notch on the body of it, and there is another notch on the end that goes into the head. Line those two marks up and put it in, and assuming you put the motor to tdc first before you put it in, you should be pretty close or right on 5 degrees. Then check your timing with a light and make sure to groung the plug by the battery when checking. Hope that helps.

Thank you 16GPoweredGSX i will try that whenever the weather gets nicer! Also another question i have is most of my Vacuum lines arent plugged up but the ones that go to the intake pipe i have no idea how to plug them back in... Whats an easier solution to this?
