Need Major Wiring Help!!!

ok so my car stopped working about 2 weeks ago, I threw the 0022 code which basically is my cam angle sensor, I didnt have a voltmeter so I went ahead and rewired the harness and got another sensor just to be certain....DIDNT work so today I got a voltmeter and tested the harness and sensor, The red wire (power) is good, the ground is good, the thin white wire is good (reads 5v) and the thin black wire should read 5v too but it doesnt...its dead...I then tapped into the wire before the sensor plug and the wire is still dead. How far back can I follow this wire to find out why its dead? It should read 5v, I know the ecu could be a possibility but I got dsmlink about 4 months ago and had the ecu rebuilt by them so it going out already is very unlikely.

I need help with this one I dont know very much about the dsm wiring harness and my chiltons doesnt really help either. So any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

PM me your email address and in the next day or so I'll try and shoot you out a decent diagram of that sections wiring. I need to find my DSM manual CD, it may have the best pictures you'll find in the mitsu manuals.

they goto pins 21 and 22 on the ecu connector c61 its th big one and I think the black one only pulses during spinning but my car isn't here to verify.
I was actually trying to find a place to host that cd
Maybe Ludachris would host it for all to dl for free

well that last post didnt help much it just said HOW to test the cas/harness....I already tested it and found the thing black wire to show no voltage when it should read 5v. I dont know what to do from here.

ya and even with me spinning the cas it gives out no Volts

**UPDATE**

Ecu burned out....there are like 6 little black sqaures that sit on the left side of the ecu (if the pins are pointed down when looking at it) one of them pretty much exploded idk its all charred and melted.....what are these if anyone knows? there is a part number on them it is m5269L and under it is 9816

i guess they are the drivers for the ecu...are they replacable?

they can be replaced but you have to find them. Jeff might have some (<--- Keydiver) or possibly Steve but last time I asked him he had none. They are imported from HK or something an unless you buy a few hundred its probably not worth it. I have an ecu that looks just like that. You could just buy a junk ecu and pull them. They are in all 1g ecus even nt. I'm working on uploading that manual for you.

Both Steve and LightningGSX repair ECU's (as well as many companies). Here's more info on the M5269L: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=116585. I suggest PM them for advice on whether to send it in or fix yourself (and then where to get parts).

I have an ecu fried like that and my car still runs fine but idles like I got cams. Mine has one of the Isc driver blown up. After looking none of those drivers are for the cas

And be sure to fix the problem/short so you don't blow out the repaired ECU.
