Fidanza 3.2, Flywheel and Tre Stage 2 Transmission

I just had these parts installed today and I would like to let everyone know how they feel.

20 Mile Mark

Fidanza 3.2 Clutch:

There is a pretty significant change in pedal pressure. I myself like the extra pedal pressure, because it gives me the feeling that its stronger. The engaagement/disengagement point is pretty short but I have yet to stall it. It may just be me, but I love how it feels as whole right now.

Fidanza 8lb Flywheel:

When shifting you can tell there is a difference in the rpm's dropping, and while free reving it definately revs quicker and drops quicker. As for performance gains, there are none. I feel no gain in power what so ever.

Tre Stage 2 AWD Tranny:

I could not be more pleased with this transmission. I have never felt something shift so tightly yet so smoothly. It feels unbelievably strong. Theres not much else to say about it.

This is just the beginning, ill make sure I post back after it is broken in at about 500 miles. I havent put anything to the test yet. I recommend all these parts if your looking in to them.

I'm having the same thing installed except for the transmisson, but did you install it with the oem TO bearing or the one with the kit because I'm having major problems because the clutch wont disengage properly and this is the only reason I could think of. I bought everything necessary for the install, ss line, fork, ball, release clip, flyweel bolts, pressure plate bolt. I did just order a slave cylinder extension rod last night to see if it would help but I'm now waiting to recieve it.

Back to the clutch...Have you had any chatter at all or is it still some what smooth because I'm installing my car is a daily driver. Also how long are you breaking it in for?

Im going to break it in for 500 miles to get that out of the way. What do you mean by wont disengage properly. This isnt a regular run of the mill clutch, its not gonna be perfectly smooth. Its a 4 puck and you have to expect it to be a little harder. That threw the people who installed mine off. They kept trying to adjust it, then I drove it and it seemed perfect to me. I used the tob the kit gave me.

Ill explain how mine disengages to see how yours is. Theres only about a half an inch between engaged and disengaged, also if you dont really give it alot of gas when disengaging i have some chatter and take off a little rough. thats about it. ive yet to stall it, it is a very streetable clutch for daily driving.

Explain what yours does.

Well, it's actually in the garage right now and I really dont know the full extent of the problem but I did use an oem TO bearing and I took in the on with the kit and it looked smaller so hopefully that will help. The guy from the garage thought they put the disc in backwards, almost like there was something wrong with the pressure plate, but when he pulled out the tranny he said everything was in properly.
