Ok the car started making a strange sound tonight it was making a a screeching noise and it was making it hard to turn the car. It does it when i turn left and right when the car was in nuetral i tried to turn the wheels and it wouldnt turn left or right very far but once i started driving it was able turn but still made the strange noise. I thought that the clutch master cyclinder had something to do with it because its sticking really bad. Im going to change it but i haven't had the time to do it just yet Would that cause this noise by chance?

Hmmmm I think its your belts. Check them and make sure you got them all. When I raced my buddys 95 talon he redlined his car so rank to try and beat me that he blew off his power steering. It was very hard to turn and it was making a screeching sound. Put a new belt on and problem went away.

OK i'll check that in the morning cause its to dark to see anything right now. the fluid is not low, I already checked that to make sure. So you think its the pump going out? That would suck its f-ing hard to turn that car with no power steering.

sounds like your powersteering pump locked up and is eating your belts. If the noise stops after awhile, the belt is loose, gets warm, and then sticks causing the noise to go away. IF the noise is constant, then its most likely a P/S pump lockup. I got a used one for $12 shipped because some guy didn't know to advertise for ealge or mitsubishi when he was parting his laser on eBay.

actually just had a similar problem. my bf was driving my car to get an alarm installed yesterday and the alternator belt snapped while he was on the highway. there was a loud screeching sound (alternator belt has been slipping/loose since i got the car) and then total silence. power steering became non-existant and the car was overheating so he had to pull over. cops had to escort him off the highway at the nearest exit.

check to see if it's alternator belt/water pump related asap.

It only does it when i turn and only. If Im going straight its fine but soon as i turn it does it and seem like its trying to stall the car kind of... it just really hard to turn but I'm going to go check those right now.

Its only gonna do it when turning being that is when you use the hydrlioics of the system. Casuewhen you turn that is when it trys to help you. It might stall the car if the pump is locked up casue its putting such a strain on your engine to turn the pump and being that it is seized that it will stall the car out.
