I have been through the forums and after reading for an hour I still have these questions
1. What strut and spring should I use to drop my car 1.5 inches?
2. Judging by the pic, would dropping it 1.5 inches, which in my case is only 1 since I have 225 40 18s (about .5inches bigger than stock,) give any kind of desired lowered effect? If not, please explain why and recommend a different strut/spring combo to lower to your specs.
3. I want to make the car sit straight, with the front and back lowered exactly the same, so should I lower the front or rear more, or both the same? Im not looking for the hotrod look or the..um broken rear struts look? haha
4. I understand that I will need to adjust the camber angle, is there any way to determine how many washers to add to the front/rear before mounting the tire over and over again?
5. Im looking for a comfortable setup and hopefully going to spend less than 300 on the struts and springs themselves, is there anything else I should buy/replace other than the camber kit while going through all this now? Things I plan on already are a brake job and a howling wheel bearing so far.
6. Do I need a tool for the 2gs setup to remove the strut and spring? I know by jacking it up it will reduce much if not all of the tension but since I have never done it on an eclipse I wouldnt know.
7. You wish there was a 7th question.
Thanks everyone
