I was given a free turbo by a friend with an sr20, its the stock t25. I haven't taken it apart yet, but I was wondering if you could pull it apart and swap the housings with a mitsu t25?

T25G: .64 AR exhaust side and .80 compressor
T25: .49 AR exhaust side and .48 compressor

T25G is the later version of the T25, and has larger compressor/turbine wheels. It also flows more than the T25.

Short answer: no.

The compressor housings are definitely a no-go, I know for a fact the compressor wheels are different.

The exhaust side is a little more iffy, but I believe the SR20s had a more aggressive turbine wheel trim, and so that likely wouldn't work either.
