Hi, I have a 2.3L Slowboy stroker and it finally ran. Except it idles at 4-5K. I looked and I noticed the TPS is turned the other way around, yet the safc2 is showing 0% and when I press the gas slightly it raises the percentages. Yet I think its the TPS thats causing the high idle. It idles at 4-5K. I am clueless as to what else can be. Any ideas ?

Thanks

do a tps test...then check around your intake manifold gasket...look for loose bolts or ones that aren't torqued to spec. a leak in the intake manifold will cause the engine to surge to higher rpms at idle. best way to check for leaks around the intake manifold gasket is to simply do a boost leak check.
