I just finished an auto to 5 speed swap and the car ran fine and started fine except the throw out bearing was bad. So we pulled the tranny and replaced it. Pulled an all nighter to do it and go to start it, it won't start. All i can hear when i start it is the fuel pump. The dash lights and stuff come on and i have tried jumping it. THe start is new and was replaced during the 5 speed conversion. The only other thing i can think of is a bad ground on the starter.

check that the two plugs are on all the way, then test the ground... is there an alarm on it? if so make sure the wires are connected, when i had my motor put back in, we forgot to connect the wires for the alarm, i felt stupid :/
