i have a evo 3 o2 and i want to order my exhaust.so can i bolt my evo o2 housing to a 14b?

thats why i asked.iplan on getting the dejon fwd turboback and he makes the dp for the evo3 o2

The turbine housing of the 14b and the Evo III 16G are similar, so the Evo III o2 housing will fit on the 14b. The difference in the turbine housing is in the material, the Evo III 16G turbine housing is less susceptible to cracks. If the downpipe is made for an Evo III o2 housing you'll be fine.

The EVO III o2 housing has a different angle at the downpipe -

EVO III O2 Housing:
These are BIG. They have a larger inlet hole for the turbine flow, larger wastegate passage, and a larger outlet. The bolt spacing on the outlet flange is wider, this makes easier to adapt a custom 3" down pipe. They have a slightly different angle at the DP flange. If you already have a 2.5" DP with a slotted flange, it is _possible_ to bolt it up to an EVO O2 housing. Usually it will stress the flex section too much so it should be considered a temporary solution only. We include a larger flange and also the larger inlet and DP gaskets with the O2 housing to make things easier for you.

Sure, but you'll probably want to port the 14b's outlet to match the Evo O2.

planning on it.is there a way i could make the tsock dp work or just wait till my exhaust gets here

As a temporary solution, yes, you can make the stock downpipe work. It will put strain on the flex over time because of the different angle of the evo o2 housing, but if it just until you get your exhaust, you'll be fine.

So basically when going to buy a new dp, just get a true straight through 3" dp?

You could, it depends on if you need a cat for emissions purposes or not. I'm in Florida I went with a RRE cat-eliminator downpipe, it goes from 2.5" - 3" after the flex.

im going to get the dejon 3" TB and then ill weld a cat in.cant wait.from what i have seen ill be the first on here w/a fwd running his exhaust

I believe RRE is also still selling a 3" DP specifically for the Evo III O2.

I'm running a Megan DP that I bought before I switched to the Evo III. I had to slot, bend, and reweld the DP.. and then fab some spacers at the O2 outlet to get the flex pipe off the transfer case...it was TIGHT against it.

It fits much better now, but still isn't perfect. I'll be getting the RRE pipe in a month or two myself.

RRE's downpipe is 2.5" before the flex and 3" after the flex. They sell downpipes for the stock 2G type o2 housing and the EVO III o2 housing.
