Ok, first question is how can i set my height in the ksport coilovers, i don't have a shop that deals with coilovers here  , so can anyone who has experience let me know how, do i adjust the bottom part, or the spring? I'm looking for a front 1.5 " drop and a rear 1.0 or 1.25 drop, how many turns can this be or how can i measure it?

2nd question, i was looking on ebay and i found a HID kit from the acura tsx, has anyone had experience with this kit? It included everything, projectors, ballasts, bulbs, etc.
Can the projector be fitted to the stock headlamp? I know probably some custom work has to be done but i think i'm up to it. Or if anyone can recommend a kit that would be cool also :rocks:

Thanks a bunch guys, any help is appreaciated

Most of the people on here are concerned primarily with engine tuning and performance modifications, not so much on styling.
Basic coilovers generally have two adjustments, ride height and spring rate. More advanced versions will also have other damper adjustments.
The bottom adjusts ride height.
The top adjusts spring rate (compression).

Oh, and you violated a basic rule of thumb - don't buy it unless you know how to use it. ;)
Don't forget to get your alignment done - and you'll probably need a camber adjustment kit.

Fortunately the kit comes with pillowball mounts so i won't need to buy a camber kit :sneaky: , but hey the price was right and i couldn't help buying them ROFL

Thanks for chiming in architechnik

And to the mods, sorry about the bumping, won't happen again.

MY BAD:coy:

Anybody else have something to offer??

I think the camber adjustment kit that architecnik may have been referring to is the kit for the rear upper control arms, which is not included in your coilover package. It is my understanding that the rear wheels have a great tendancy for mad negative camber when lowered. This is the kit that I purchased and installed when I installed my JIC coilovers...

Good luck man, I hope that helps :thumb:

Thanks talon77, but my vehicle is a FWD so i won't need to adjust camber on the back, though i'm still a little lost on the height issue, but thanks for the help guys, as always this forum is a sanctum for us DIY guys.

Maybe I'm missing something (it's been a long week)...

Nope.

but what does FWD vs. AWD have anything to do with needing to have the camber of all 4 wheels set correctly to prevent tire wear?

Nothing at all. Your thinking is correct.

Well to be honest, i believe the suspension design in the rear for a FWD, being that is it not independent i can't adjust the rear camber. I mean that is what i think. I know AWD's rear independent makes it easy to adjust rear camber by means of a kit.

Now my FWD Ksport suspension yes has pillowballs up front with camber plates, thus allowing me to adjust camber in the front, yes i've always been aware of this, and i also know i have to adjust said camber when i lower the vehicle. This also will be done, i am not so much of a noob in dsm world, this is my 3rd one, so my question is if somebody with real coilover experience can give me a tip to setting ride height. PLEASE ANY HELP IN THIS IS APPREACIATED.

Much thanks to al those who have chimed in so far :rocks:

ANYONE WITH KSPORT OR COILOVER EXPERIENCE, YOUR HELP IS NEEDED

Whew!... I was worried for a moment there :D

While we're on the subject, I'm getting ready to drop in an Eibach Pro Kit and KYB AGX's all the way around.

Will this combination (with hopefully no more than about an inch of lowering) require any mods to be able to get the camber back in spec? I'll obviously go with the camber kit(s) if needed (home depot camber kit?), but I'm hoping there is enough adjustment to compensate.

I'm searching and researching, but it seems some need it and some don't...
