I recently got my hands on a pocketlogger and I'm still getting the hang of this, but my knock reading jumps to around 40 at start off. At 10g boost, the most it reads is 5.

On the pocketlogger playback, it lasts for about 3 seconds, decreasing about 5, then drops all the way to 0. RPMs are around 2.75 - 3.25

I have no major mods yet - I wanted to make sure I can track each change prior.

Would this be a faulty knock sensor or wiring or is there something truely wrong?

(Suspension is fine, there is a little engine vibration, but not much.)

I tried other searches, which revealed many possible problems at high boost and other scenarios, but not really anything about standard accelleration from a tcd.

what's your boost set at, what octane are you running, and have you checked your timing lately? i know some weird crap can cause knock. mine used to read my lifter tick as knock.

Timing was done just a little while ago, so it should be fine. Octane is 91, the highest here in BFE Oregon.

The lifter tick is pretty bad sometimes. The oil pressure always drops while idle after warm-up, so this would kinda make sense once I get moving again. I didn't think it would be that sensitive, though.

As far as what the boost is set at... ??? IDK. Forced Induction n00b here, it's stock - whatever that is.
