No Start

Ok for a while now when it gets hot out the will have issues starting. Like you turn the key and hear clicking but she wont turn over. But usually after a few mintues she start up and drives fine.

Today after tuning the car for about I turned it off and she wouldnt turn back on. This time i waited up to 30 minutes after and still no go.

Could a starter that gets to hot cause this or would it be something else?

I'm getting tired of this, cause it only does it when it hot out, and today wouldnt turn over for me after running it in the heat and tuning.

Any suggestion/help would be greatly appreciated.

Would it be the starter or something else?

Sounds like a bad battery connection. Sometimes the lights and all may work, but not enough juice is able to be pulled to turn the motor over. Try cleaning your battery terminals and connections and see if that helps.

I'll give that shot tonight!!!

Battery is only 1 year old so is the starter and alternatro was just replaced.

Maybe I need to replace the alternator wires. Perhaps the battery is just not getting charged properly!!!

If the battery flows more power (got an upgraded one) would that cause the same issues?

No, I run a red top optima battery and have never had a problem with it. As long as the connections are good, you should have no problem with the battery.

check the affiliated relays, they can get hot and not work sometimes. check the starter wires/fusible links to make sure they are ok.. nothing else i can think of off the top of my head
