well this is the problem.. when i lower my car about a week later this metal on metal contact noise started to happen but it only happens when i turn right.. i tried to re surface the rotor and then maybe though it was my right rotor completly but i switched that out and i also changed out my lower control arm for some reason but if anyone has any suggestions on what it is then tell me please and i also took my wheel off to see if it was rubbing against the rim but that wasnt it either

it only happens when i move ive tried jsut sitting there and turn the wheel left and right and nothing happens but when i go less then 15 mph itll do it...it sounds like a screech/grind

If it only happens when you move than it must be something rotating apparently, just have a friend turn your wheels and look to see if they are rubbing on anything or if there is anything else that might be rubbing. Good luck to you

it only happens when im going less then 15 mph and it doesnt happen when i am stopped and turn left to right and right to left....ive already had someone look when i turned the wheels and they couldnt find anything either...the only thing i would think of is the drive axle but i dont know what sound it make when or if it rubs or screeches...i just cant figure it out

It might be your cv shaft or axle or whatever you want to call it. You can pull the boot off and check your bearings ( sorry I'm having a brain fart and cant think of the word I'm looking for) but you know what I'm talking about. or if you want try changing our axle and see what happens. Good luck
Travis

try checking your gaurd shield that is on the back of the rotor. i know on other cars i have had sometimes they will get bent grinding on the rotor, but as you speed up will go away.

It sounds like a lower arm ball joint losing lubricant. But you said you replaced it. I'd double check though. I had the EXACT same symptoms and it was the lower arm ball joint missing lub. Just my $0.02. Tom.
