So when i first start my car the oil pressure goes past the halfway mark but as i drive it more and the car warms up the pressure goes lower. It moves around but wont go higher than the near middle notch, im lucky if it even gets up to that. At idle if i sit there long enough the needle sits as low as it can go but no pressure light comes on. I have replaced the head gasket, and put on a new head, removed balance shafts, done timing belt and put in a new crank and all new bearings and seals (timing belt broke). Before all this my pressure was great and nothing has changed on the oil pump except no balance shafts of course and the bearing i used to block off the BS galley had no oil hole so there is no way that it somehow got lined up.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Ive done so much to this car i just want to see it at its best.

I hope you used the VFAQ for your BSE.
You said bearing.
There are 2 bearings in there that need to be knocked out and rotated.
I hope you got the inner most second bearing.

What did you do about the rear balance shaft?

have you used a mechcanical gauge on it yet?

are you using thinner oil?

But piece of mind, oil does provide lower pressure when warmed up. it just thins out

it may not be a problem, but is the idiot light staying off?

yea the "idiot" light has never come on. And when i say bearing i mean like the stock bearing that comes out i put a new one back in but one without an oil hole so there is no way that it could have like vibrated back into alignment or anything. I only blocked off the front bearing for the front balance shaft because the rear bearing is self-oiled by the balance shaft itself and for the rear balance shaft i put on one of those little nubs from a BS eliminator kit and yes i did follow vfaq.

how many holes are to be blocked off after taking out the balance shafts? ### i did the front one but i thought the rear part of the front balance shaft was self lubricated because that balance shaft was hollow?
