Ok i am going to be running a 16g setup with external gate looking for around 300 AWHP. I am going to be purchasing a tre stage 2 tranny just curious how the 2100 will hold up?

I say go for the fidanza 3.2. Those guys really know there stuff, after hearing a interview about there clutches. Its the same price as a 2100 but holds 395wtq which is more then enough to last you forever. It was actually made just for guys who want more power but use it as a daily driver.

Clutches hold torque, not horsepower.

If you had a 1000HP engine with 300ft/lb's you would only need something that held 300ft/lbs+

Whats that saying, Horsepower is fast, but torque gets you there? some bs like that?

I have an ACT 2100 and it slips. 15PSI too. The shop I get my car fixed at recommended a Southbend clutch.

I have South Bend Kevlar/ Ceramic clutch w/ 2200lb pressure plate; ACT XACT Flywheel; RRE 2g braided clutch line; on a rebuilt tranny, and on about 24lbs w/ race gas on a e316g w/o cams I believe this clutch started slipping after some passes at the track. ( Mods in profile )
Doesnt ever slip on 19psi on a street tune, and the previous owner autocrossed... ( Even after several launches. )

I plan on putting my cyclone manifold in soon, and building a 2/3 stroker w/ fp3 cams
and hopefully it can hold up till the stroker gets built then im going to switch to
a act 2900 pressure plate w/ full kevlar disc.

stock Cast Iron Flywheel (if still useable) and ACT 2600 is perfect for 80% of us...

I highly recommend the 2600 over the 2100 because I have owned both with lots of street/track miles on both, the 2600 will hold all of a B16g when its all dialed in and making good power....a 2600 will also hold almost any 50/60 trim variant and live a little while to tell about it.

The 2600 is only roughly $80 more, safe yourself a transmission R&R and get the 2600 PP and street disc right off the bat...:thumb:
