Ok , couple of questions and have searched for answers with not much luck. First of all, i have my engine at a shop being built NA as we speak( or type). So power numbers shouldnt be outrageously high, that being said, i have a 150k 5speed trans that was still shifting pretty good before i tore this car down, im thinking of rebuilding it but how far and with what is my question? I havent found much as in a performance build for this tranny, or do i even need it? Also, considered just buying a much lower miled tranny and keep other for a spare.

Second question, I was very impressed with my clutch as well as it was still getting the job done at 150k, so should i get an OEM replacement or upgrade it tho i prol wont be more than 100hp over stock?

And is this clutch any good ?

Thanks for any help on this subject!:dsm:

Honestly, you shouldn't need it. The NV-T350 transmission is capable of handling well over what you will be subjecting it to. The first thing that seems to go, though, is the differential. In particular, the pin slides out and destroys a lot of things. Safing brackets would be wise to install, or weld the pin in place.

I don't know about that eBay clutch, but I will recommend South Bend Clutch. They are very good clutches, a favourite among 2gnt'rs.
