Im researching about tach adapters and what not, because i have a 1991 + ecu in my 1990 Talon TSi, and i was reading up on coil packs and what not. I went to check to see if my coil pack was the correct one(which it was) and i found 2 connectors behind the intake manifold. upon more research, i read about a noise filter, and a connector that goes with it. Is one of those it? if so, then what about the other one?

Small one is not the noise filter, since it has three wires coming off of it, the purple one looks like knock sensor.

idk how that purple on would be the knock sensor, b/c i looked last week to see if i needed a new one, but the previous owner already put a new one in. And its connected. Why would there be an extra connector? and does that noise filter need to be connected to something?
