Aftermarket piston on stock rods

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

Have machine shop open small end of rod to wrist pin size. Drill oil hole.

A good machince shop will be able to do this easily.

This is not something I would attempt myself, unless you own precision machining equipment. You're dealing with modifications where tolerances are measured in thousandths of an inch. The width of a human hair can literally be the difference in a good engine and failure. Find a precision machine shop in your area. It's not complicated if you have the proper equipment.

If you can squeeze out enough money for some inexpensive h beams like a bc or an eagle you can assemble them yourself at home and save some money on machine shop work and have a lot nicer parts too :thumb:
