Wondering what types of battery boxes are good for use in our hatchback cars if I was going to relocate my battery to my trunk. I read all the threads on it and I am ready to attempt it. I do have a couple of questiosn though

- I planned on using 4 gauge copper wire that has a high amp and voltage rating, is that ok???
- Also if this battery box would be good.- http://store.summitracing.com/partd...part=SUM-G1231&N=700+-104319+115&autoview=sku

-Is a kill switch absolutly neccessary???

- Do I have to run the ground wire as well to the front of the car or can I use a solid ground in the back???

Thanks for any input I really appreciate it!! :thumb:

that box would be a good base for moving the battery to trunk area it has the correct vents to make it track legal. the kill switch is the other thing that you need to track legal though. a ground in the back would be sufficent as long as you ground the starter up front also.
