Ok well I just got my car back today after getting a rebuilt 6 bolt block, big 16g, 190 pump, rewired, motor mounts, fadanza flywheel, ecu+ tuning software and some other stuff. Everything seems fine for the most part. A little bit of smoke came out the exhaust but I am assuming that is normal for when just breaking in an engine. The problem that arose after some driving is; my anti lock dash light came on and at the same time, it felt like they jammed up or something. I was not breaking at the time or anything. I only felt it when I would step on the gas. When I did, I could feel the pulsating anti lock break like feeling. I could not accelerate at all really. This went away and came back numerous times over the 70 mile drive home. I stopped the car turned it off and the light went away and hasn't come back. The brake locking feeling has come back though twice since then for a short while. Most of the time I can like down shift and it goes away.

I have researched on here and it seems like whenever installing a data logger or anything along those lines the light will come on. Well it did not come on right away, and then went away without me doing any cel type clearing of the codes. I do have ecu+ installed so would think that would maybe make the abs light come on, but would that also effect the actual abs system as well?
Also my brake pads are really worn could that affect something besides bad braking power?

On another note there is also some type of ticking like noise coming from the passenger side of the engine bay, or wheel well area that comes on when just hitting boost. Like around 3k. Anyone have any ideas what that could be? Hard to describe it more, just like a clicking or grinding like noise, seems to get louder with rpm's as well.

My Goodness! OMG

Although I have a 91 Eclipse GSX, i had the exact same problem occur to me. a clicking noise that sounds like it is from the passenger side rear wheel well. Abs Light Flickers and I can feel the Jolt from something in the ABS!!!

I dont like it at all. Someone please help!?!?

Thnx

idk about the ABS???? but the ticking could be a numerous of things. valve tick, lifter tick, a piece of plastic rubbing. ### be more specific.

I will try to jump my car as I don't drive it anymore and see i the ABS light is still on. That is kinda the least of my problems with the car right now. Can't get the damn idle to stay right. Needs to be completely reset I guess.
