hahn 16g questions

well ive done some searching on this turbo and and apparently theyre mostly used on 420a's. anyone use them on 4g63's? i also noticed i think they have a 3 bolt t3 flange. any help would be appreciated because i think i just bought one.

is it possible to swap on an actual 16g turbine housing? just want to make this simpler than its turning out

My cousin used one of their super 16g's to run 12's with his 99 GST. They are a capable turbo. The best thing you can do is call them up to find out for sure whether or not you have one of their turbos.

I run the HAHN Super16 in my 98 GS-T. I personally like it as I'm FWD and a couple hundred extra RPMs of lag is not such a bad thing for me. Has good power and good street manners. Although if I was AWD I would pass on it as then I would have better traction and could handle a more aggressive turbo.

With this turbo you will need some adapter pieces. Of course it's easier if you use their install kit as it has everything you need, and don't forget to port match the turbo-adapter-exhaust mani. And you almost need the O2 housing that comes for the turbo.

I`ve had a Hahn racing super 16G in my 98 Tsi for 5+ years, It runs flawlessly. It boosts smoothly & builds quickly with virtually no lag, & will boost up past 20 psi. to redline(7800) all day no problem. I fully recommend it to anyone with a 4g63 . . .

yeah it comes with the o2 housing but not the manifold so i guess ill just buy a manifold with a t3 flange?

The Hahn kits come with a manifold adapter plate to bolt your stock mani to the 16G

bought this turbo off ebay used so i dont think it will come with the adapter flange
