little vac line thing

ok so I just installed my Hallman MBC, but before I put it in id like to describe what it looked like in there.. im a little confused. The line from the wastegate, the line from the compressor housing, and some other line, all came together in a 3-way. The other line is the one im curious about. It ran down behind the stock airbox and plugged into another little switch thing. there was also another line from this switch that attached to the intake where the pipe connects to the airbox. The little plug, where all this was happening, was labeled K5T43596 1917. Just wondering what thing thing does and does it matter if I unplug both vac lines from it. I had to unplug the one that went to the 3-way to install the MBC. While the car was running I couldnt feel any push or pull from it. does this mean i can pull the other one as well?

That thingy is your stock boost controll solenoid,its what you're replacing with your mbc,you can disconnect the hoses from it but don't disconnect the electrical plug from it as the computer needs to see it or it will throw a check engine light.

Yup! Pull all the lines from the BCS, and put the MBC inline between the compressor housing and the wg!
