Need Help

Car started overheating, stopped it and noticed oil under the car. What could this be? Also the temp gauge never reached the redline. Would like to know where I should start looking.

Check to see if the water cooled oil cooler is messed up.

What did the oil pressure gauge say? Have you checked the basics; coolent lines, coolent levels, oil lines, oil levels? Look for where the leak is coming from. If you're lucky it'll be just this simple

The only place I could find oil coming from was the valve cover. Oil was bubbling out of their.

Did you happend to check to see if your fans are working ..

You should always check the basics before you get on here so you can give us a little more feedback. Check your coolant level and all of the line's and check your oil as well. The valve cover oil is probably bubbling because you overheated the car and the gasket started to leak. Do a visual test and fill the coolant and whatnot and get back.

Yes one is working and I have 2 new ones ordered. My temp would go to half way pretty quick but never over until now. Just hoping I didnt crack the block.

You don't have your valve cover vent port blocked off do you? That could possibly do it..? Hope its nothing too bad.
