hey guys. this weekend im dropping my tranny and replacing my clutch, flywheel, tranny, and clutch fork on my AWD. i was wondering if there was anything that i need to be aware of before i do it. or if theres a really easy way to drop it besides the one on Vfaq. these are the instructions im going to be using so if anyone knows something that i dont about replacing any of these please tell me. im going to be using a stage 2 competition clutch so i know that i am going to need a new stock clutch fork. i still dont know if i should order a new lightweight flywheel and use that since i have the assembly taken apart or if i should just re-use my stock one. i will know when i look at the flywheel but i want to have a new one there to bolt up if the stock on is bad. if anyone has any input on something that needs to be done while i have everything out please reply. thanks

Replacing the cluctch assembly is staright foward, and those vfaq directions are pretty good. You should always replace or resurface your flywheel when installing a new clutch. Besides, if you have the cash, purchase a lightened flywheel, will help your engine rev quicker, and it's a much better piece than stock.
