2gb fogs on 2ga, q about wires.

Hey,

just got a pair of 2gb fogs for my car. As you see I've done a 2gb front conversion. Anyway, got them mounted but the two wires coming from the harness are gray and sky blue. Is gray negative?

Got it, sky blue is positive duh and gray is negative. Make sure you guys check the bulbs condition before installing. I didn't and had to uninstall again. Saves about 10 minutes. H3-55w is the OEM bulb or you can get the h3st (silverstars).

Now question is, where do I put the horn?

Question, how did you mount the fogs? I bought a set of ebay Replica fogs, and I couldnt figure out how to mount them.. They are held on now but I dont think they are the OEM way?

You mount them on to the radiator support. If your 2GB fogs came with the brackets attached then you should be able to mount them properly. I think there's about 3 holes on the rad support and it bolts right up.

Here is how I hooked up the foglights and the horn on my other 95 GSX that I did the conversion on.

As you can see in one of the pics, it is like stock setup consisting of just a harness plug. I cut the plug harness from the stock 2ga fogs, attached it to the 2gb fogs, and nice clean like stock hook up. Only downside is no more harness on the 2ga fogs, and would have to hardwire that, but seriously now, will you go back to 2GA? EXACTLY.

hmm my car looked a little different then that under the bumper.. i have my fogs mounted in a similar way..

Whats that plastic thing under the fog light? I never had that...

Take the original bracket used for the 2ga foglights off. The 2gb fogs come with the bracket already so you just use some 10mm bolts to mounth them to the previous position. The holes should be slanted from top to bottom.
