HELP with Turbo System/BOV

I recently picked up a 90 GST for 400 bucks which isn’t bad, I've had pervious 1g's. For some reason I cant hear a blow off from this car, Now I know it is a re-circulated system, so its not going to be very loud, Neither do I expect it to be although my pervious first gen I could hear the blow off, and ob my buddy's Laser I can hear it also, Both cars are stock, I checked my turbo and it has little shaft play and spools up fine, the only thing I’ve done to the car is the BCS mod. Any help or info will help thanks.

If the car is completely stock you wouldn't hear it. I know that the 2g had a tube that ended right in front of the compressor and you couldn't hear it. I'm almost postive that the 1g has a very similar set up. Also the recirculating tube on the 1g is really long so it would insulate the sound that would be there.

Yeah, don't expect to hear the stock BOV. The return tube is about 9 ft. long and will greatly dampen the sound. Back when I had my stock BOV the slightest sound was a tiny high pitched squeel.

I hear my bov and i'm 100% stock except for a boost controller & gauge. if you to the metal re-circulation tube mod you will hear it alot better also. ps. What are you boosting at?

Havent gotten a Boost Gauge yet, but the stock inaccurate boost gauge shows me between the 7psi mark and the 14Psi, so im guessing 10. Whats the metal line mod?

boost controller and would not make you completely stock and you can turn up the boost therefore moving more air through the bov other wise you would be in the same boat.
