I have a problem with my passenger side electric seat belt. when someone gets into my car the seat belt does not always engage. However, I was playing around with it and found that if I move the passenger window up and down several times the seat belt inches into place as I'm moving it. This only happens somtimes but its still really annoying. could it be a short in the relay?

it just sounds like a loose connection, try messing with the door open and close sensor and try the motor itself.

Dont forget that there is one for seatbelts and one for lights. But, I would say that you have a bad connection in the door. Take the door panel off and check the harness. If you cant fix your short I have a harness.

The latest car I worked on with a seat belt issue had a bad open/close sensor in the door. Yours sounds like a short or bad connection.

Maybe a bad install on speaker wires? A long shot on the wires but I have seen it done..
