I was wondering what is the most HP that any of you have known to be put out using a Td06H 20G on a dsm?

I'd choose one of the many 20G variants (some including a 60-1 compressor wheel) over a Garrett hybrid any day of the week.I think there are better turbos than the 20g and its basically a waste for what you can get a 60-1 for nowadays.

Here's my reasoning: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/320872-50-trim.html#post151720360

Right, and I haven't found a reliable one yet.Which garrett hybrids you mean? Like a PTE with a t31 wheel or something like that you mean. Most common chra's anymore are based of the garrett anyway?

...even the FP turbos are based off the garrett chra. So, what do you think is the best turbo?
Not all of them. The popular DSM Green and Red models are Mitsu-based.
Regardless, for the price you pay for any FP turbo they can afford to service it under warranty if something goes wrong with it like my buddy's Precision junker.
I've always admired MHI turbos for their durability....we're soon going to find out how Holsets hold up. Myself and three of my buddies are going to be running Holsets on our cars.

WHAT? A 16g has put down 500hp. So i dont agree with that statement. But, what is true is that if your arent the best tuner, and want easy power, the 20g will put out more for the avg schmoe. But, the 16g will spool quicker and be cheaper.

.The question is what can YOU or I get out of the compressor flow. The compressor map shows 42lb/min. If CB could get 500whp out of a 16g then he could get 590whp out of a 20g. Neither is realistic for 99% of us, NOT 'average schmoes'.They're definitely not as common as you're making it seem. Its a common setup to see a 20g with a 60-1 compressor wheel.
Link me up, man. I'd like to see where you can get a FP Red clone for $450 less than FP's price. You can get a 20g with that wheel for 900 new.
