VR-4 dsmlink ecu question

I want to get DSMLink for my 91 Galant VR-4 but am concerned that the 1g ECU would not work correctly (the original ECU was replaced with a non-eprom ECU). Would they work together to tune my car or do I need to send my ECU in to get EPROMed?

You need an eprom ecu to use dsmlink. Any ecu from a 91-94 dsm will work.
