i just bought a 91 talon tsi that had been sitting for 6 months. it needed a turbo replacement and i just purchased one and am going to install it this weekend. my question is, what all should i do to ensure the car will be in good working order after the install. (oil change, coolant flush, plugs, boost leaks ...........)

Other then what you listed the belts need to be checked. How many miles on your timing 60,000 plus i would change it.:thumb:

Also, if you are changing the timing belt make sure to order a new tensioner. Not the pully but the pressure tension its in expensive and probably a good idea, i know a few people that have blown motors because of it. Oh, and don't forget to perge the turbo.
