Really Early RevLimiting

Been having trouble trying to get my car ready to be tuned. I can't get the damn thing to rev high at all.

Here is what I know.

It will rev to redline in neutral with ease.
In first gear, it limits itself to about 5500rpms
Second, it limits to about 4500rpms.
less and less each gear.
At idle my airflow/rev is .31-.34 via DSMLink.
Spark Plug wires are brand new.
Plugs have hardly 50 miles on them.
It stalls after giving it gas when under load(in gear).


What's causing me to not get to rev higher?

Was it sitting for a long time? Could be a clogged fuel filter?

It sat for about 4 days. Maybe a couple more than that.

Was the car doing the same thing before the rebuild? If not then its not the fuel filter unless somthing got sucked in there, which is unlikely.

Do a boost leak test. Thats probably the best place to start.

And check your fuel pressure.

Alright, there are no boost leaks.

How do I check fuel pressure?

1 test no leaks. I wish I were that lucky. You need a fuel pressure gauge. Tap in before the regulator to see the pressure in the fuel rail.

Could this be ignition related? I have already eliminated the plugs and wires, but the coil packs could be bad?
