Radiator hose options

Well with the turbo on the lower radiator hose is in the way of my intake. What are my options. I thought that I could just buy some pipe but I heard that this might mess up the flow pattern or rate. help

1. Cut the hose slightly shorter.

2. Turn the hose on the water pipe side.
