Ok i just replaced my oil pump from ebay ......risk......... duh........ Anyhow it clicks? I also elminated the b/s why i was at it. Its seems my car is running about a half second slower to 60 mph Any how . Does anyone in here think its possible that this oil pump is causing phantom knock? Just wanna let you know timing marks are perfect and base engine timing is set accuratley at 5 degrees. I do have a logger but not sure what i need to look for.
I have also observerd that it has a slight studder if you put the throttle at a certain point . Basically barely pushing on it . I beleive that the isc motor is bad as well..

No boost leaks!!! spark plug gap is at 28

What brand oil pump was it? I didnt think there were any knockoff oil pumps for sale. Anyways did you have this studdering problem before you did the oil pump and BS removal?

You could have some knock which is pulling timing, which will feel like power loss. If you have a logger you should take a log and see if you have any knock. How loud is this nosie and can you estimate where its coming from?

The problem was!!! I found the culprit . Somehow there was a bolt not fully tight in the oil pump case that was rattling out. Well it came out ,dang near broke my timing belt . So when i took the cover off to swao belt the bolt fell out . So i replaced the bolt and wallA the noise is gone.
No more miss fire and noise
