ok here's the deal. I need a little helpful advice and a little direction here. ive got a 2g gsx shell and a 1g long block that i am rebuilding for the block up. so far what im looking at is doing the 2.3 stroker, eagle rods, arp rod blots, je 8.5-1 .020 over pistons. now for the head work ferrea 1mm over valves, and 280/280 cams. as far as valve springs i think i want to go for something like a dual coil but im not really sure. i want to get 500hp out of this beast and also i am looking to go in the direction of time attack so any helpful advice or direction that i might want to look into would be great especially in the vavle spring department.

*** oh yeah on a side note, im getting the head and the block hot tanked and pressure checked and resurfaced if needed so please dont everyone dont tell me to do that.

Thanks for any ideas.

I'm also doing a 2.3 stroker in my 2g but im using manley pistons .020 and rods, as far as head i am probly doing the brian crower 280's with brian crower Valve Spring and Titanium Retainer Kit. I think the BC 280 cams and BC valve spring kit would be great. I have read up and researched alot on them and have heard nothin but good for that setup. But from what i hear really high rpm is not really recommended for stroker motors.
