While trying to get out of my driveway this morning I noticed that as I gave moderate gas to go up and over the steep long hill which is my driveway, that the engine rev'd and car slowed down to a crawl yet revs continued to climb...like the clutch was slipping...I heard a sound similar to tires spinning(and no it wasnt the tires) The clutch is an ACT2600 with new TOB and fork, slave cyl and master are new...all replaced maybe 15k miles ago...
I did a search and read that a bad VC can seem like the clutch is slipping...Id investigate further but with all the damn melting snow, my garage is flooded and like everything is soaked... Ill eventually have to suck it up and go lay in the puddles but id like to \delay it as much as possible....
So is there anyone who has had these symptoms before as I describe??
and also I did not smell "burning clutch" however It wouldnt surprise me if that jackass who changed it messed something up...
Ok and finally car is a 95GSX 5spd with 90' 6bolt swapped in...also all fluids in all tranny/diffs was replaced myself, so im pretty sure they are full..and i havent noticed any puddles of nasty SMELLY gear lube...
Thanks in advance...
