What year tranny is this? Serial number doesnt make sense.

I thought the 10th digit was the year. Its a AWD 5 speed, supposedly a 91. The number is KW5M332NPXV. The X would make it a 99? I know its not a 2G.

Thanks, I was trying to narrow it down to the actual year so I know what cable mounts to use, but thank you for the effort, at least now I know its 90-92.
