so about a week ago i found out that i spun a rod bearing. im pretty sure its cylinder 4 because i pulled the spark plug wires over each cylinder while a friend revved the car up around 2,500rpm and while the car was making crazy noise i pulled cylinder 4's wire and the noise went away. there's no noise when the car is idling, only when im over 2,000rpm.

ive only driven the car probably between 10-20 miles since the noise started up. since then i havent driven the car for a week. i was wondering if i can change all 8 rod bearings just by taking off the oil pan because i dont think i can manage taking the engine out right about now.

Spun rod bearings usually can't be repaired by just replacing the bearings. Machine work is usually required to repair the connecting rod or the crank, or both. If you want to change the bearings, it can be done without removing the engine.

well depending on how the rod bearing is, it is contributiory to rod knock - and doesnt go away. It starts small and gets worse. My #1 bearing shredded and I had about 1/16th of an inch of play in my crank. Thats terrible.

You are going to want to change all of the bearings at once, because it doesnt really make sense to change the 2 that might be bad, and then one may be right behind it.
