What should my next turbo be???

Ok I had fun with my 57trim turbo but now I want more power but something that spools fast like my 57trim I don’t want anything spooling full boost around 5000rpms.
The turbos I was looking at is the HolsetHX40 they say it spools fast and full boost under 4000rpms and makes the 60-1 turbo look small, what other turbos I can get that I wont have to pay crazy money for it?

Well what your asking for isn't going to be cheap. As far as the Holset goes, I don't know much abou that, but I'd say go with a Garrett ball bearing variant, like a GT30R or a 35R. Will provide the power your looking for, with spool around 4200-4500. Get a tubular exahust manifold to help bring down spool times, but again with bigger turbos like that, faster spool becomes harder and harder to get.

What's the condition of the 57 trim wanna sell it
I'd probably go with the Hx turbo I've heard good thigns about them

i got the holset HX40 turbo and it spools up nicely. the GT35/40 turbos are great as everyone else says but to me Holset is more than worth the price. you can get a new holset HX40 with the Bullseyepower housing for 800.00

Would a Holset HX40 really see full boost before 4000 rpms? This seems hard to believe of course depending on what your running for full boost but for the amount of boost you should be running with this turbo that just doen't seem possible for their size/amount of flow & their std bearing. I know their quick spooling for not being BB but thats seems way too quick. I thought the HX35 would be in the 4000 range. Are we still talking stock compression 2.0L?

, got about 4,000 miles on it and its a custom housing it uses t3 and has mitsubishi exhuast housing so you dont have to pay crazy money for a 02 housing when you can just use ## mitsubishi and get to use a t3 manifold.
I can let it go for about $400
