I am planning on swapping my t-25 for my new 14b. I researched and learned that I can re-use water lines and 2g return line. I understand I have to mod the return line holes but to someoen with experience what exactly am I drilling?

Now the oil feed line. I understand our 2g's route to the oil filter housing and the 1g routes to the head. Well can i buy some slack or something to improvise because frankly I have no patience to wait another week when I had planned my boys over this weekend. LMK please.

You're drilling the bolt holes on the turbo side of the oil drain line closer together to line up with the threaded bolt holes on the 14b. Or you could just buy a 1g oil drain line.

You'll be fine taking the oil from the oil filter housing. It is HIGHLY recommended that you get a new oil feed line; most people prefer a braided stainless steel line. RRE, SBR, Extremepsi, and almost every other vendor has this line. If you reuse your stock oil feed and it has any blockages in it, that may lead to turbo failure later on.

The bolt holes that line up on the turbo side need to be filed or using a dremel tool. Expand them just slightly so they line up with the 14b.
Im assuming you might not have a 2g install kit :

or if you just need the oil feed line, 24 inch -4AN stainless steel line with fittings to attach to top of turbo and oil filter housing http://slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=98&

Hope this helps bro, glad to see someone from Texas turning up more DSM power :thumb:

MrBoxx,
When you say 'You'll be fine taking oil from the oil filter house', does that imply to me even when I get my stainless steel braided line? I remember there being options if I wanted it for the head or oil filter house.

Phantom,
Dam right I am, I'm done with the window shoppin, daydreamin, and e-surfing. Time to make it happen!

Yes, 2g's usually take their oil supply from the oil filter housing regardless of turbo, so if you get, say a 2g install kit for a 16g, it'll come with an SS line that's the proper length for it to run from the turbo to the oil filter housing. Just because you're putting a 1g turbo on your car doesn't mean you have to take the oil from the same place as it comes from on a 1g.
