I recently had to purchase new axles because my passenger side lower ball joint blew out on me , luckily I was only doing 30 and just got of the highway. But when the qustion of axles came up I went on google to find some cheap high performance axles. I ended up on www.Raxles.com I beleive is the site and emailed them regarding my car and price issues. They said they would be able to custom build me hi-po axles that would still let me have ABS. It only cost me 22 per axle. I got 2 axles overnight saturday air from florida to NY for 580. The axles feel great and although i have not had time to go to the track, with a limited lifetime warranty, im sure I will have no problems. I can even turn so much easier ( new ball joint helps most likely, only noticable because i stripped out my power steering. But if anybody was wondering these axles looked a lot beefier and ride even better than stock.

Its nice to now that there is other performance axles out there, I have always used the autozone special and never had a problem because I never could afford the prices of fidanza. Good find.:thumb:

I really don't see the point in wasting so much money on stronger axles unless your making some serious torque. You can get new reman axles for under $100 a pair with a lifetime warranty.

The Fidanzas suck, just FYI. They can handle no power whatsoever. Stock Axles > Fidanza any day.

To OP:
Good Find.

well i dont really know how i blew it out, but im thankfull it was like 200 feet away from my freinds shop. there wear-and-tear and mine just teared i guess. but i did swap the whole lower control arem because carquest had it for like 10 bucks more then just the ball joint. AND the reason i whent performance is because I do plan to go big in torque and i fiqured y no do it now, and when i go big all i'll need is a driveshaft.( i meant 220$ in my previous post.)

I had always heard about the good quality of raxles because they use all new parts. When I purchased a new front drivers side axle from them I was dissappointed when it started clicking about 2 weeks later.
I suspect you won't have this problem though on the rear where they don't have to move with the steering.

RAXLES axles suck ass... I bought some about 6 months ago and never raced the car, the first time I race it I didn't even get off the line when the axle broke right off the spiddle. These axles cant handle any power what so ever, I'm only making 300hp and they bronke on the first launch and they wont swap them out if you were racing with them..
