I got this ecu with my jdm swap but it did not come with the engine (it can separate) but as you can tell from the pictures that they are totally different. I put it into another gsx i have and it was boosting more than the stock and it was pulling harder. Is this epromed if the chip on the bottom is an and eprom chip it is soldered to the ecu and not socketed. Does anybody know what kind of chip it is? Or is this a stock ecu and i am just crazy? they are suppose to be both for a 91 gsx. Thanks

It appears to be a stock EPROM ecu to me. The E952 code means that it is a japanese eprom, not sure from what car without checking the part #. (E952 is listed as the EPROM used in the JDM GVR4 here:ECU ID Reference). If the EPROM is soldered to the board, then it is stock. An aftermarket chip would be socketed.
