when you put a 6 bolt in a 2g, do you use the 1g wiring harness, or 2g wiring harness

I'm wondering, will the 1g/6-bolt wiring harness plug up to the 2g ECU and run the motor like so?

No the 1G wiring harness won't plug into the 2G ECU.

Use the 2G wiring harness and make adapters or rewire those parts of it that need to go to different sensor than what the 2G had.

first off if your doing a 6 bolt swap,go with a complete 6 bolt 1g set up head and block.use everything as if you were just swapping just a motor, use all your 2g harness and ecu.but you will definitly need to swap out some sensor plugs(easy just some minor rewiring).my 6 bolt swap took no time to do....good luck
