Another maft and DSMlink question?

i want to get rid of my 2g maf, ### its an eye sore, and i dont like the way it looks, and i also want to run a Tial BOV. if i run a blow though setup maf and maft will i still be ale to tune witht the DSMlink.. i dont want to use the maft as a tuning device, just so i can use the GM maf. can i just zero everything out on the maft so its not sending false info(or lying) to the ecu.

Or does anyone know if DSMlink v3 will be GM maf compatable?

Yes, just zero the maft and use DSMlink to tune. The word is that v3 will allow you to run without the maft but nobody knows when it's coming out for sure....looks like its going to be awhile.
