my stock oil gauge hasnt worked for some time now and i want to fix it. I have a couple of loose wires hanging down by the oil filter housing so i was hoping someone might be able to explain where they should be plugged in to or if someone could take a picture of the way they should be that would be a big help....I believe one wire is yellow and the other wire is blue if that matters at all...please someone help me out with his

Although I have a 90 filter housing the wiring is still the same. I had to take two pictures to get both the sensors.

The yellow wire goes to the oil pressure switch, and the blue wire ( shielded in the 2nd pic) goes the the pressure sending unit for your gauge.

thankyou so much.....do you know where i can get the part number for the oil sending unit? also is there anywhere i can get new plugs for the end of the wires mine are pretty shot and covered in oil and dirt or can I just cut the wire and crimp on a new female plug

Contact a mitsubishi dealer for the end. I replaced mine where it attaches in your second picture. I got it for less than 10 bucks. Should just clip all together. I didnt cut or soder any wires.
