VR4 FMIC into a 90GST

i did a search and found nothing on this...

a buddy of mine is giving me his VR4 MAF with HKS intake and his VR4 FMIC. i was wondering what all is needed to do this swap. or is this a direct swap?

I think that some of the guys on this site might want a little more information before they will be able to help you. Photos might help a lot as to figuring out what is needed for the intercooler install.

stock VR4 galant FMIC going in a 90 GST. if i had it i could figure out what i needed. but i figured some one already did it

stock vr4 fmic? its a piece of junk, dsm sidemounts are better. is this what youre talking about? the tiny thing that ought to be an oil cooler instead?

i read on here that there was a diffrence between the us and JDM models true???

Why are you planning to use the GVR4 MAS? A 2g MAS and a set of used EVO 8 injectors are a great swap if you're looking for a cheap upgrade. Almost no tuning required.

A 3kGT-TT MAS is a bigger upgrade but requires ECU chipping to work. Likewise the Evo or #482 MAS from the VVTi-V6 engines flow very well (66% more than a 1g MAS) but require chipping. I am using a $482 with 750's and a chip from DSMChips.

cheap is beyond me. on this one... if i get it free yea ill do it but im trying to put out as little as possable. its my beater and i wanna try to keep it fun to drive while im fixing my lightning...

its not worth it, ebay the parts and get like a chip or something, youll get more from the chip.

Srt10 ownes lightning. Why would you put something smaller on your car? I'd just take the hks intake. Other stuff is junk

your SRT10 > lightning info is a crock...

trust me stock to stock a lightning is faster threw the 1/4.

last 1 i raced in i was still mostly stock i gave to the 330 never heated the tires and i still ran his ass down and put cars on him. there pig's the 22's dont hook. the 6 speed in a truck is worthless. they cant tow. and i personally dont like how they look.

It was tested and Srt-10 was the winner. Just because you beat some1 means nothing they have standards youu have auto. Anyway those parts a pretty much junk with the exception of the hks filter

real life > magazine / tv show testing.
it wasnt just 1 ive beat its EVERYONE thats lined up with me. and the last one i raced was a modded quad cab btw. meaning it was an auto yea yea yea i know it weighs more but with "500" hp it should still kill me

as for the eclit. ill grab it all and see if i can mock up my sidemount to a front mount using the pipes from the GVR4 FMIC
