Bosch is the main WB O2 sensor in use; however, there are other manufacturers as well, they're all of good quality and do the same thing which is spread the signal from a 1v to a 5v signal that gives better resolution on the readings.

The real difference between the manufacturers listed is all in the "bells and whistles". There's really no other difference between them other than that. The only consideration that is a must is that if you have future plans of purchasing DSMLink or a similar item that the WB you get has an 0-5v analog output.

I run the PLX into DSMLink and like it, it does the job I purchased it for.

The ZT-2 is a nice package, I was originally looking at it until PLX came out with a non-display version for $100 cheaper. Since I log through DSMLink I have no need for a display.

so can you tune from the zt-2 ?
if so, what can and cant you do with it that maybe you could with something else?
i dont know if im going to ever want a dsmlink or anything similar, wacha think?

I have a ZT-2 installed in my car and it works fine. I'm not much on some of the additional inputs it will monitor, but it has a very nice 0-5v linear output, a simulated narrowband output, and the newest ones even have an adjustable switching point for the narrowband. It's nothing fancy but it works well and their customer support has been very good.

The new 52mm gauge display looks like the ticket to me for viewing as there is too much text on the box display.

It will also datalog its inputs at I think 50Hz for something like 9 hrs, should be enough for most ppl.

This is the only unit I've used personally, I've seen the AEM and 1 other in customers cars and thye worked well also.

Good Luck with your decision.

I have a zeitronix with all the bells and whistles. I haven't hooked up the wideband yet though, just using the EGT and boost and the display. The display isn't the brightest in the daytime but is easy to read at night.

It fits great over the steering column. Doesn't block the view of the stock gauges and it is readable.

Install was pretty easy, just tapping into a couple wires.

I got the ZT2 ,excellent support from Zeitronix, it logs 9 hrs (no laptop battery lasts that long LOL)

I have it wired to my ECUplus and i count be happier.

The display is nice too.. its a tad small than the older SAFC 2 , i run it with EGT on the disaplay,im going to set it upp to run Boost too (just need to wire in the mapsensor-too cold outside)
