I recently purchased a 1990 laser turbo and the exhaust manifold and turbo housing are both cracked and need to be replaced. Ebay lists a stainless manifold for $100~$150, are they any good? I also came across an outfit selling "new" TD05H units with complete gasket kits for something like $279~$300, are these any good or are they some kind of Chinese knock offs?

As a newbie at this point I'm not looking for any performance increases I would just like to get the car on the road again.

Thanks

Turbochargers.com sells their new GT exhaust manifold for $150, you can get it at www.dsmparts.com too. It comes ported to a 7cm gasket.

As for the turbine housing, you have options. You can get a used one on here, you can a mitsubishi one, PTE one, bullseye one, the list goes on.

You other option, which would be the cheapest is to find a used exhaust manifold (1G or 2G) and used turbine housing.
