Ok so I just bought this HX35. In the process of getting it shipped to my home, this small line broke off of the turbo housing. I blew in it, and it definitely has an opening inside of the housing. I would asume that it would be a horrible boost leak.

Do I need this line for any reason? What is it for? Is it a vaccum line?

edit: that's the biggest size I am allowed to attach the pic, try to look at the red circle...

well i cant see that pic at all,

but it sounds like you're talking about the nipple for a boost source that is on the compressor outlet. If thats it, you can jb weld or use some other method to close/plug the hole (needs to be strong since boost will be pushing on it)

Otherwise, if there is enough of the nipple left, you could connect a vacuum line there as your boost controller source. just remember to ziptie the line on so it won't fly off)
